Hello!
I'm John Oleniacz.
I'm excited you're here.
I'm currently a Senior year student expected to graduate in Spring, 2025 at the Savannah College of Art & Design. I'm studying 3D Character Technical Direction and Animation. I'm having a great time collaborating with artists to tell stories and make amazing things! Right now, I'm working on my senior film with an incredibly talented group of storytellers, and I couldn't be more excited.

I grew up in southern New Jersey, thirty minutes from Philadelphia and about an hour from New York City. I'll always have a deep respect for the Northeast, the NJ Pinelands, and the Atlantic Ocean. I'm an Eagle Scout, and during my journey to get there, I led a large team of people to restore the playground and entrance ways of a non-profit wildlife refuge.

In my spare time, you can find me on a walk or run on the beach, hiking through the woods, picking at my guitar, hanging out with my dog (pictured here), and counting down the days 'till I get on a good roller coaster.
I've always believed that a good story brings us all together. I'm drawn to animation in particular because it's a medium that has a rare ability to transcend age and language barriers, making it a powerful storytelling device that resonates with audiences.
